Woodlands Drama Group
We are proud to say we are now the Home of this long established drama group.
They hold their regular play rehearsals here culminating in a FREE performance of each dress rehearsal in the Loft upstairs.
They have also put on special performances of a number of plays in the Lounge Bar - truly spectacular occasions!

Harrogate Chess Club
Similarly we are Home to Harrogate Chess Club. They are long established in the town and meet here regularly on a Monday Evening 7:30pm. They have teams in numerous local leagues and play home matches here on a Wednesday or Saturday.

A new Harrogate-based community arts group
that aims to bring lesser-known drama with both popular appeal and a social 'edge' to a
wider audience.
Founder members are Jan Williams, actor and director for many years with Woodlands drama group, and David Aldred, whose intercultural work brings together sound, dance, words and visuals and who
presented performances in theatres across Yorkshire last year including
Seven Arts, Leeds. David is currently completing a practice-research PhD in Performing Arts at Leeds Beckett University.
We look forward to developi this exciting new collaboration with them long into the future!
